  1. Foot lengthWearing the socks you plan to wear, stand with your weight on both feet and your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

  2. Foot widthStanding with your weight on both feet, measure straight across the widest part of your foot, usually the ball. Use the wider foot.

Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest.

Material and construction

Cut from smooth black leather and shaped so the shaft sits close through the ankle and lower leg. The vertical seams trace the line of the leg, and the block heel is finished in black to match the upper. Each pair is made to order by LCW.

Styling

Wear them under straight or flared trousers so only the toe and heel show, or let the full shaft show with a midi dress, a knit skirt or cropped wide-leg denim. Black tights keep the line unbroken through the colder months. For evenings, they sit neatly under a slip dress with a long tailored coat.
