  1. Foot lengthWearing the socks you plan to wear, stand with your weight on both feet and your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

  2. Foot widthStanding with your weight on both feet, measure straight across the widest part of your foot, usually the ball. Use the wider foot.

Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest.

Overview

Material and construction

The upper is cut from dark brown leather with a rubbed, waxy look, so the color shifts from deep brown in the creases to a lighter tone where the leather is worked. The boot is lined in leather and finished on a leather outsole, with the welt stitched around the forefoot. Each pair is made to order by LCW.

Styling

Wear them under straight or bootcut jeans so the shaft stays out of sight and only the round toe and heel show. They suit a denim shirt or a plain white tee, and the dark brown works with olive, navy and stone. Tucked into slimmer jeans, the scalloped shaft becomes part of the look.
