  1. Foot lengthWearing the socks you plan to wear, stand with your weight on both feet and your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

  2. Foot widthStanding with your weight on both feet, measure straight across the widest part of your foot, usually the ball. Use the wider foot.

Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest.

Material and construction

The boot is made from brown leather with a burnished finish that darkens toward the toe and heel. The shaft carries rows of dark decorative stitching, and a piped side seam joins it to the foot. Underneath, a smooth tan outsole meets a stacked heel with a dark edge.

Styling

Wear the shaft under bootcut or straight-leg denim so the stitching peeks out, or tuck slim jeans in to show the full pattern. A denim or suede jacket and a pearl-snap shirt keep the look western without costume. For a cleaner take, pair them with dark chinos and a tweed blazer.
