  1. Foot lengthWearing the socks you plan to wear, stand with your weight on both feet and your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

  2. Foot widthStanding with your weight on both feet, measure straight across the widest part of your foot, usually the ball. Use the wider foot.

Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest.

Overview

Material and construction

The upper is brown leather with a distressed, pull-up character, so it shows natural light and dark variation. Elastic panels are stitched in at each side, and fabric webbing loops are sewn into the collar. The upper is stitched to a brown welt on a cream sole with a shallow tread.

Styling

Wear them with rolled selvedge denim, workwear trousers or olive cargos. A chore coat, flannel shirt or shearling-collar jacket suits the distressed leather, and the cream sole keeps the look fresh. They slip on quickly, which makes them an easy everyday boot.
