  1. Foot lengthWearing the socks you plan to wear, stand with your weight on both feet and your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

  2. Foot widthStanding with your weight on both feet, measure straight across the widest part of your foot, usually the ball. Use the wider foot.

Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest.

Material and construction

The upper is black goat leather with a fine natural grain and a smooth, polished face. The shaft is lined in a natural tan tone that shows at the top line and pull tabs, and the stitch pattern is worked in black thread so it reads as texture rather than contrast. The low heel and sole are finished in black to match. Made to order by LCW.

Styling

The low heel and plain black finish make these some of the easiest western boots to wear with everyday clothes. Try them with dark jeans and a flannel shirt, or with black chinos and a crewneck knit. They also sit neatly under tailored trousers when only the toe shows.
