Overview

Material and construction

The thigh panels are suede leather, set on a canvas base with foam padding and mesh used in the construction. Red binding finishes the outer edges, and the tool pockets are stitched and riveted to the panels. Each apron is made to order by LCW. Check the safety requirements for your work or riding before use.

Use

Designed for farriers, blacksmiths and horse owners who trim and shoe. The long panels sit where a hoof rests between your knees, and the side pockets keep rasps and knives close at hand as you move from foot to foot.

Split-leg chap cut with a buckled waistband and leg straps to set the fit.

Brush dried mud and hoof debris off the suede with a stiff brush after use, and spot clean the canvas with a damp cloth. Let it air dry away from direct heat.
