Overview
Material and construction
Made from black leather, with the pleats stitched into the waistband and left to fall freely. Tonal stitching runs along the waistband and panel seams, so the pleats and the natural drape of the leather give the skirt its character. The lower panel seam widens the hem, so the skirt moves more freely.
Styling
Shown with a rust cardigan and chunky black boots, and under a grey tweed jacket with a crossbody bag. For evenings, swap in a black silk blouse and heeled boots. A tucked-in knit keeps the waistband visible and balances the fuller skirt, and in warmer weather a fitted tee and sandals work well.
