This welding apron with sleeves covers the front and both arms in orange split cowhide, leaving the back open from the shoulders to the waist. A three-snap placket at the neck and leather ties at the back hold it in place, so it goes on much like a jacket worn back to front.

Material and construction

Cut from split cowhide leather in a warm orange tone, with the soft nap typical of split leather. The neckline is bound in brown, three metal snaps close the placket, and the waist ties are cut from the same leather. Seams across the chest and down the sleeves are stitched in a light thread. Check the safety requirements for your work or riding before use.

Use

Suited to welding, grinding, cutting and forge work, where you want the arms and front covered but prefer an open back to a full jacket. Pair it with gauntlet gloves for a complete set-up.
