  1. ThighWearing the jeans or trousers you will have on underneath, sit down and measure around the fullest part of your thigh, close to the crotch.

  2. WaistOver the clothing you will wear underneath, measure around your body at the height where the chaps belt will sit.

  3. Leg lengthWearing the boots you will ride in, measure from the height where the chaps belt sits, down the outside of your leg to the floor.

Chaps are worn over other clothing, so measure over what you will wear underneath.

Material and construction

Hair-on hide panels set into dark brown leather, with a tan tooled yoke across the top. The edges are finished with a contrast whipstitch, the fringe is cut in long strands, and brown leather straps with metal roller buckles close each leg. Natural markings vary from piece to piece.

Styling

Wear them over dark jeans with western boots and a pearl-snap shirt for riding, ranch work or rodeo events. The mix of hair-on hide, tooling and fringe makes them a strong feature piece, so keep the shirt plain and let the chaps lead.
