Overview

Material and construction

Cut from split cowhide leather, dark brown for the shaft and light grey for the foot cover. The foot cover holds a metal insert that you press into shape to follow the toe of the boot, and the seams are stitched in a tonal thread. Check the safety requirements for your work or riding before use.

Use

Worn over work boots and the lower leg during welding, cutting and grinding, as part of a set-up with an apron or jacket. The boots and trousers in the photographs are not included.
