Overview
Material and construction
Made from suede leather, with dark brown panels stitched over the thighs and a wide band shaped to sit across the lower back. The waist and leg straps are webbing with side-release buckles, so the apron goes on and comes off quickly. The tools in the photos show how the pockets are used. Made to order by LCW. Check the safety requirements for your work or riding before use.
Use
For farriers, hoof trimmers and horse owners doing their own foot care, with the side pockets keeping a hoof knife, rasp and pick to hand. The side-release buckles make it simple to take off between horses or at the end of the day.

Split-leg apron chaps with a wide back band, adjustable webbing at the waist and straps behind each thigh.

Care
Brush off hoof dust and dirt after each use and treat marks with a suede eraser. Let the apron dry naturally if it gets wet, then brush the nap back up and wipe the webbing with a damp cloth.
